         Domains were proposed in 1983 by Paul Mokapetris of USC 's Information Science
         Institute and began to be used as they became popular on the Internet . With the

         establishment of ICANN in 1998 , the overall operation and management of domains
         was delegated by the U.S. Department of Commerce, including domains, IPs, and DNS
         1)  has the authority to operate .

         general  top-level  domain  (gTLD),  country  code  top-level  domain  (ccTLD),  and
         secondary  domain,  and  each  country's  top-level  domain  is  delegated  to  the
         management organization of that country .
         ■ What is a domain ?

         IP is difficult for humans to understand and remember, a name was given to each IP ,
         which is called a domain .

         - open tutorials: name of the computer
            - org : top-level domain – non-profit organization
         • daum.co.kr
         - daum : name of the computer
            - co: refers to the top-level domain in the form of a country
