‘ Broken capitalism ’ is a global
concern, Davos Forum Closing
When people live for a long time, things break down, and the home appliances we use a
lso break down when used for a long time . When a person goes to the hospital, as long
as they know what the disease is and have the medicine to cure it, there is no problem
with malfunction . But why is the world still neglecting this while talking about broken c
apitalism ? It becomes a problem because we do not know how to fix broken capitalis
m , or when we know but cannot implement it. The problem here is the latter . Even if a
solution is found, the reason it cannot be resolved is because of vested interests .
Capitalism is individualism , and democracy is also individualism. It's capitalism . Even if
an individual has a lot of wealth, he cannot be forced to share it with those who do not h
ave it . However, it is even more impossible to do business while abiding by all the laws
established by those with power . This problem is not something that can be solved thr
ough innovation . So, even though 40 world leaders and 2,600 global companies gather
ed at the Davos Forum, they were unable to come up with an alternative and ended by
saying that individualism, or capitalism, was broken . Since the Davos Forum, countries
around the world continue to make efforts from various angles to find a solution, but on
the other hand, they continue to fight for the sake of fighting . Since the 1970s , capitalis
m has lowered trade barriers and developed free trade . However, due to the evils of c
apitalism, polarization has become more severe, and only 1% of the world's people shar
QR e the rights of 99% of people. The era has come where people are treated like servant
s . Polarization is deepening due to broken capitalism . It is a serious global disease .
