Let’s take a look at Samsung Electronics’ stock . Let’s look at the listing status . It
was listed on June 11 , 1974 at 5,000 won . It fell to 3,500 won in June 1992 . From thi
s time in 1997 to 1998 , it was 30,000 won to 60,000 won . I paid 300,000 won in
2000 , 500,000 won in 2004 , 1 million won in 2011 , and 1.5 million won in 2014 . In
2016 , it was 1.6 million won , and on November 2, 2017 , it became 2.876 million won ,
and the 5,000 won stock continued to rise in the same way .
that Samsung established a research center, hired researchers from the beginning like
GIGAKOREA or GA , patented the technology, and did business for the benefit of its o
wn country and people . They put the brand value of Samsung first , and in addition, the
y received goods through small and medium-sized businesses and sold them overseas
, making money in the same way . So, it is true that Samsung has now made a lot of mo
ney through its stock value , and that the government has achieved enormous wealth b
y supporting large corporations through various policy measures . If so, Samsung shoul
d no longer work only for its own company . For the sake of the country and for the
small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners who have made it wh
at it is today, we must help and, of course, make donations .
But what do large corporations look like today ? I think this is really not the case , given
that I am passing the sheep on to my children . Of course, the goal of a company is to g
enerate profit . However , we must not spare any support to small and medium-sized
businesses or people who have made Samsung what it is today , as well as Samsung
affiliates . Of course it must be done . In the same way, because a stock company only
has limited liability for stocks and does not have unlimited liability , it does business by c
ollecting money and doing business while receiving benefits from the government , and
also receiving love from the people. It is the responsibility of large corporations to retur
n love to the people , to the government , and to provide help to small and medium-size
d businesses .
But is that really the case ? I would like to ask whether we are seeing such a large com
pany now . So, I really think that like any company, now is the time to think about the p
eople . In general, things that affect stock prices are determined by sales, operating pro
QR fits , and global brand value , innovation in governance , and then things like paying a hu
ge inheritance tax.
